Registered Yoga Teacher Training Programs/Schools Application Process

There are varied Registration fees for YTT schools based on the number of graduates per year, with reduced fees for smaller schools. YTT Registration fee is payable for the first three years of Registration, followed by an annual review of Registration information.
Ontario Application Fees:
  • Basic 200-hour program: $200.
  • Adding a second level to an existing 200-hour program to equal 500 or more hours; fee for the second level: $100 per year for the first three years.
  • Both levels of a 500-hour program: $300.
  • For schools with less than 20 graduates a year, the fee for a 200-hour program: $90 per year for the first three years.
  • For schools with less than 20 graduates a year, the fee for adding a second level of 300-hours to an existing 200 hour-program: $45 per year for the first three years.
  • For schools with less than 20 graduates a year, the fee for a 500 hour-program: $135 per year for the first three years.
     
Please note: If your school is already registered with Yoga Alliance in the US please forward a copy of the Registration along with your application and program fee.
     
To complete this registration, enclose the appropriate registration fee: cheque or money order made out to OYA and mail to: Ontario Yoga Association, P O Box 2107 Square One Post Office Mississauga ON L5B 3C6
     
Note: a professional fee, one year teaching experience and a practicum are required of graduate students of OYA registered schools to become OYA R.
